Next, enter your master password to be granted access to your account settings, where you will be able to change your email address. Once you have selected the lock icon you will be given the option to enter your master password. It is easy to gain access to the panel by clicking on the lock icon. Unlock the Account Panel:įor your safety and security, your account panel will appear locked. From the drop-down menu click on the 'preferences' button, which will open a new page.
Once you have selected the 'tools' tab a drop-down menu will appear. If you have managed to log in to your account you should be able to see a tab labeled 'tools' that is placed on the navigation bar at the top of your page. Use your original email address (your Dashlane ID) and password to then sign in to your account. Clicking this button will transfer you to the sign-in page. Once you have arrived at the Dashlane website homepage selected the 'login' button in the top righthand corner. Fortunately, this process is simple via the Dashlane website.
However, the email through which Dashlane contacts you can be changed. The initial email address that you used to set up your Dashlane account cannot be changed and will forever remain your login email and Dashlane ID.
